Update 2: Painful Changes


I just uploaded another update for the game! It includes a heap of changes as well as some new stuff, and I'm going to run through all of it quickly in this post.

First of all, I added the first fightable enemy into the game: Wolves!  These dangerous creatures spawn on the path to the bandit camp (north of the village), and they walk around happily at first:


Once they notice you, however, they start attacking you by charging at you and biting you. Of course, you can fight them using your bow and your sword.


As you may have also noticed, I added some cool particle effects both for shooting with the bow and for taking damage.

If you're testing out the game in multiplayer, there's a really cool new feature you can use as well: Emotes! If you press the R key, a selection menu will now come up that allows you to pick the emote you want to display.


There's also some more new stuff that I'm not going to show here, because it's pretty minor. I added fur that drops from wolves that you can sell, I added wheat, I revamped item description menus a bit, I added some more particle effects to other stuff and I overhauled the bandits by making them pathfind to their desired location using the  A* algorithm instead of just moving there in a straight line without any care for obstacles in the way.
